26 New Government Colleges under Comilla Education Board

26 colleges under Cumilla Education Board in greater Comilla region including 10 in Comilla district, six in Brahmanbaria and seven in Chandpur district have been migrated to Government colleges. A total of 271 colleges have been improved to government across the country. A notification in this regard was issued on 8 August signed by Nasima Khanam, Deputy Secretary, Secondary and Higher Education Department, Ministry of Education.

3. Matlab Chhenkharchar Degree College, Matlab North
4. Matlab Degree College, Matlab South
5. Haimchar College, Haimchar
6. Hajiganj Model College, Hajiganj
7. Karfulennesa Women's College, Shahrashti.

 

After these 271 private colleges became government colleges, the total number of government colleges and equivalent institutions in the country has become 598
