Kashipur
Hashemia High School (KHHS) is one of the older secondary high schools in Homna
upazila under Cumilla district. Famous donor Alhaj Md. Abul Hashem is the
founder of the school. On Tuesday, 29th of Ramadan, 4th
June 2019 before the EID day the Second Yearly Iftar Mahfil and Reunion – 2019 of
the school held on the campus. The whole ceremony was arranged by the
Ex-Student Association of Kashipur Hashemia High School.
Almost
all the members of the ex-students association were present on the Get Together.
Beside, all the teachers, members of the managing committee of the school and
other honorable guests were also present. Together everyone enjoyed the
ceremony and ate Iftar.
Event
was started at 3.30 pm on the south side tin shed hall room inside the school
campus. At first, Recitation from the Holy Quran. Then organizational report
was presented by the general secretary of the association Md. Kawsar Miah and
Financial report of the association was presented by the treasurer Md. Toufik
Ahmed.
After
4.00 PM discussions and memorization between all the attendees took place. Then
honorable guests, present and ex-teachers presented their valuable speech. The
head teacher of the school Md. Joynal Abedin Bhuiyan, assistant head teacher
Md. Abul Bashar Sarker, assistant teacher Md. Kamal Hossain, Ex-teacher Md. Ershad
Hossain, Chairman of the Bhashania Union Parishad Md. Kamrul Islam, president
of the KHHS ex-student association Md. Ramij Uddin and others spoke on the
ceremony.
Finally
before the Iftar, everybody prayed to Almighty Allah and ate Iftar which was also
arranged by the organizer. A special souvenir named ‘Oikotan’ was published for
the occasion which was really a good work by the association. Everyone was
impressed and wished for long live of the Kashipur Hashemia High School Ex-student
Association.
Based
on the information published on the souvenir the Future Plan of the KHHS Ex-student
Association are:
- Celebrate the Golden Jubilee (50 years) of Kashipur Hashemia High School which will be held probably on the year of 2020 or 2021.
- Presently the members are working to register the association under the Department of Social Service, Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh.
- Launch own dynamic and rich web portal.
- Create and maintain a special database of all the ex-students of KHHS where details of all the students will be listed based on their profession, age, enrollment and passing year of SSC exam etc.
- The association will organize various subject based special seminars such as University Admission, Excellent Career Building etc.
- There will be a ‘Trust Fund’ to help poor and meritorious students of the school.
- Arrange re-union with the ex-students of the Kashipur Hashemia High School once in a year.
